Helpful Resources
When Neil was first diagnosed, I immediately immersed myself in research. Even with a background in healthcare, I found that endless internet searches and worst-case scenarios could quickly become overwhelming and frightening. Having reliable, medically sound information makes a tremendous difference in those early days.
These organizations represent both trusted information and meaningful progress—two things that matter deeply to us as we continue this mission.
The Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation (CCF) website is an excellent, reputable place to begin—offering clear explanations, current treatment information, and guidance you can trust. Just as important as medical information is community, connecting with others who understand the journey can be invaluable as you learn to navigate next steps.
We have a close partnership with The Ohio State University (OSU) through their ambassador program. Each year, our foundation donates to support Dr. Roychowdhury and his team as they work to advance research, develop better treatments, and pursue a cure for this cancer. Neil participated in one of Dr. Roychowdhury's clinical trials for several months, and after he passed, he generously donated his body to research at OSU in the hope that it would help others in the future.
